Statement of Faith

I have learnt some of the lessons of life the easy way, by doing what I am told, but a lot of the lessons have been learnt the hard way.
But when I learn the hard way it is always first hand, straight from the ‘horses mouth’, and I hope you will understand if you see some original thoughts that you could be unfamiliar with.

Christianity has no doctrines, or statement of faith. The only thing it has is God.
He moves where he want to, and it is our job to follow Him.

He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
There is no Way to go, unless He goes before us.
There is no Truth, unless He speaks it.
There is no Life worth living, unless His life is in us.

He is the BOSS

I am a father, a husband, and an employee, all in this one body. At various times of the day I am in each of these separate rolls.
God fulfils three separate rolls.
He is the Father
He is the Son of man.
He is the Holy Spirit (the Comforter)

He is the God of Love.
Infinite, unexhaustable, whole hearted, life giving LOVE.
Wherever God is there is an atmosphere of Love.

When Adam sinned he took the whole human race into eternal separation from God. The only way back is through taking part in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who died as a human being and was resurrected.
(Babies and children seem to be allowed into heaven by mercy, but this, although true, is a bit of a puzzle).

If a person is willing to claim, or go through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ then everything that they were born with, (apart from their physical body), and everything that they have acquired since, both good and bad….DIES……and is resurrected just as God wants. This includes the personality.

"All his sins are washed away.
His night is turned to day."

We still can be blessed by God, receive healing, knowledge, and many other good things without this resurrection, and can think we are where God wants us to be on the surface, but deep down we know we are not in the place where we want to be.

"Ah show me that happiest place,
The place of thy people’s abode,
Where saints in an ecstasy gaze
And hang on a crucified God"
(Charles Wesley about 1786)

A lot of people give their hearts to Jesus and surrender their lives to God and do not realise that God wants them to be ‘Born Again’ by death and resurrection. We ask them, some months later how they are and they say that since they asked Jesus in, their life has been terrible. They thought Jesus would bring them into heaven and stop the pain, but all He seems to be doing is killing them off. Other people ask Jesus into their heart, and He sweetly, and tenderly carries them forward. It is up to Him. He does what he wants.

It seems as if 'normal' people can come through a gentler salvation, but the gentler salvation is not powerful enough for those who have been in great sin
Drug Addicts, Alcoholics, Murderers, Paedophiles and Witches have to die and be ressurected. When they do, their righteousness usually exceeds the righteousness of the more conventional Christian. They also love more, because they have been forgiven more.
I live in Toxteth, Liverpool, which is probably the worst place in England for crime and drugs. I have seen drug addicts, from the dregs of life, gloriously saved, once they realise that they MUST be BORN AGAIN.
Do see what I believe to be the Gospel of Jesus Christ The Gospel

Human beings are the most resilient things on earth. They come up smiling, and those that have been through agony for years, with them, do not know whether to hug them or hit them. They, readily, assume the position of a saint, and rightly so. But you would not believe what they did before they were ‘Born Again’.

If only we can get this message over. There are men that are pig-sick of going into prison, (in and out – in and out)….The prison life can gloriously come to an end just by believing in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and taking part in it.
