Forgotten Hymns - Page 2
Lord, let me follow Thee
Oh let me love Thee so
That I take up my cross and come
With Thee where Thou dost go.
I choose the better part
Thy glorious will, not mine.
Thyself, ah, who would choose themselves
While glimsing love like Thine.
I glimpse Thy love dear Lord.
And pant to know Thee more.
For I would love Thee as I should
Adore, and still adore.
Adore Thee, worthy Lamb.
And not in word alone,
But with the fibre of my life,
Fall prostrate at thy throne.
It matters not, dear Lord
If joy or pain be mine,
Jesus, if only Thou appear
And all Thy life be mine.
Jesus, be glorified
Glory and praise to thee,
Thy glory overwhelm my soul
Thy loveliness I see.
Let me be found no more.
My dear beloved Lord.
Let me go on and on with Thee.
And disappear in God.
Let no man find me, Lord.
Oh hide me still in Thee.
Thy loveliness alone shall shine
Through all eternity.
This is the place of love.
This is the glory given.
Embraced of God, for evermore.
Embraced in Earth and Heaven.
